Our ‘pretty final’ Event Listing for 2026 is ready and the grounds are approaching dry with all this wind and lack of rain! We’ll update on when the grounds are rideable for vehicles and horses, but please hold off until the mud dries.

Our Events at the Grounds are listed below and open to the public with discounted fees for Members. Trail rides are free to Members and due to recent changes in our insurance options, all riders require an active membership.  Up to date Coggins/Rabies is required for all Events and Trail Rides.

Peter Whitmore Obstacle / Versatility Clinic May 16, 2026
AM (10am to 12pm) or PM (12:30pm to 2:30pm) Clinic choice

We’re happy to have Peter Whitmore back for his Annual Versatility /Obstacle Clinic with morning or afternoon clinic options. Working through obstacles enables you to build confidence and connect at a higher level with your equine partner and Peter is great at offering guidance along the way.

Cost is $100/Person for Members; $125/Person Non-Members. HCRC Membership is $30 Adult; $22 Juniors (12-17) free for Children under 12 with an adult member.

Plans are to have two ring options running simultaneously during each time slot, depending on registration numbers.  ‘Advanced Riders and Horses’ will be held in the main ring and ‘Beginning horses and riders of All Ages’ in the 2nd ring.  Instructors in either ring are able to increase the difficulty of obstacles to provide a challenge and fun for most any horse and rider! You have the option of working your horse in hand in either ring. Adults leading small children who may not be comfortable riding alone are also welcome. We will have space for 12 riders in each ring, so after you register with your preferences, we will email you to confirm your space before you make your payment.

Drill Team Clinic with Philip Whitmore June 27, 2026

We’re excited to welcome Philip Whitmore for a Drill Team Clinic! Does your horse ride well with others?  Keep a consistent pace? Turn on their haunches? Carry a flag?  There are lots of skills you can learn in this clinic plus it’s a lot of fun!

The Clinic runs 10-3pm with a 1-hour break for a BYO lunch. We will have space for 12 riders. Member cost is $100/person; Non-Members cost is $125. HCRC Membership is $30 Adult; $22 Juniors (12-17) free for Children under 12 with an adult member.
