We hope everyone is getting to enjoy their horses safely during this long haul with the pandemic. Some small groups have gotten out to the usual places and are using care to stay on the right side of the horse! A list of ‘open for riding’ locations is being assembled as people get out and will be shared here and on Facebook.

The riding Club is in great form thanks to some dedicated volunteers, and plans are in the works to get the practice ring posts back in shape for use later in the summer. This way we’ll be ready if we get to pick up with some of our scheduled events. Volunteers are needed for painting and other odd jobs … plus help with mowing is ALWAYS needed and especially appreciated! Contact Jamie if you have time to help out. The electrified paddocks are up and running so you can bring your horse for some grazing while you help and take a ride afterwards! And any creative ideas for horse fun in the meantime are still welcome!

2020 Membership renewals were steady and the Member Directory has been circulated the MA Horse subscriptions sent to Stephanie. Folks are always welcome to join, though we are running on a calendar year now, so the sooner the better! You can print a form and mail it with your check, or use our online option.

The 2020 Event Schedule is complete, but keeps having delays so check here or the Facebook page for updates.

We’re continue to work on adding to our Member Benefits with a complete list of Retail and Service discounts. Contact Jennifer if you have other suggestions or additions to offer!

We’ve revived our HCRC Scholarship for 2020, with a $250 award. The Application is due by July 1, 2020.
